I’m Renée and this is New Angel Tarot. A space where you can receive support, insight and spiritual guidance. My pursuit of esoteric knowledge is a life long journey, but I have been reading and studying the stars and human energy for as long as I can remember. I’ve always been curious, so that has taught me a lot about how the world works. It’s not about figuring out how other people think, it’s about your-SELF. To Know Thy Self is the key to the universe. Your YOU-niverse.

Renée started her Tarot journey at the age of seventeen around 1990, when visiting a New Age store in Melbourne and receiving a Tarot reading for the first time. That day, she experienced the art of Cartomancy and purchased her first Rider Waite Smith Tarot deck. Prior to this, her first love was Astrology having read Linda Goodman’s ‘Sun Signs’ at the age of twelve, which was her gateway into the world of esoterica. Since then, combining Tarot with Astrology was a natural flow and now her core technique. Renée is a current student of B.O.T.A founded by Paul Foster Case, and she continues to evolve professionally and spiritually. Natal stats: Gemini Sun, Sagittarius Moon and Taurus Rising.

Being told she “couldn’t teach”, fuelled the birth of New Angel Tarot Academy which was established in 2022 shortly after registering with the Tarot Guild of Australia in 2020. Renée was a committee member for 2 tenures, transitioned to Professional Membership and now teaches over 100 students a year online. Through her YouTube channel sharing educational videos on the art of Tarot and tutorials, she continues to help people learn and understand Tarot. Renée is also a regular reader at psychic expos and markets on the ground, across Victoria and New South Wales most Sundays.

Her spiritual work is now her life path, as Renée is retired from the corporate world. Having worked as a graphic designer, typographer and creative director since 1994, Renée designed for multi-national retailers, greeting card and social expression products. Renée also managed and mentored ad agency creative teams across Australia in both print and digital. Postgraduate studies include a Master’s Degree in Communications at Swinburne University. 

Since 2020 Renée has contributed to the Tarot Guild of Australia as the designer and web developer of the new TGA website, published articles in The Magician Magazine, produced the TGA newsletter, initiated the TGA Calendar Project, as well as birth the TGA Podcast as the creator and host. Renée continues to promote the TGA across Victoria and New South Wales by encouraging membership and presenters in person at events from the US and Australia.

In 2024 Renée started a collaborative project called Light Work Women to bring other women’s collective energy together to not only have some fun, but introduce one another to our circles. Women supporting other women as practitioners and friends.

In 2025 Renée is writing her first book on Tarot and continues to support and encourage others on their journey discovering the magic of Tarot and putting faith in their natural abilities.
